Welcome to our beautiful newly built home with a unique location on the pier in Rorsundet. Walking distance to Vega World Heritage Center and public boat transport on Gardsøya (200m). Great for friends and families. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and living room with open kitchen.
The house stands on stilts, has a private terrace and an elongated common pier with the few houses around.
Rorsundet is idyllically located, sheltered by small islands and is an excellent starting point for boating, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, SUP, cycling and hiking trails. On the pier you can enjoy quiet evenings with wonderful sunsets.
About our home:
The home is well equipped throughout, has floor heating in both bathrooms, wood fireplace in the living room and surface heaters in bedrooms. Washer, dryer and dishwasher. Induction cooktop and Nespresso coffee machine.
Ground floor:
Living room, kitchen, large bathroom with shower and washer/dryer, hallway with mirrored wardrobe.
First floor:
Three bedrooms with sleeping space for up to six people and bathroom with shower.
- One room with a king bed (180x200) cm.
- Two bedrooms with two single beds (90x200 cm) each, that can be put together into a king bed.
Allergy-friendly bedding from Høie with extra long duvets in all rooms. Folding cot available.
Getting around:
- 0,2 km (200m) to the dock at Gardsøya, where a passenger boat takes you to Sandnessjøen.
- 9 km to the dock at Rørøy, where a passenger boat takes you to Brønnøysund.
- 16 km to the ferry dock in Igerøy, where a ferry takes you to Tjøtta or Horn.
Attractions:
Vega World Heritage Centre with it's charming café just 200 meters away. Other attractions include The Vega Stairs, Ravnfloget Via Ferrata, Stone Age trails, mountain climbing, local food, bird watching and boating among Vegas 6500 isles and skillets.
